A humble servant of sound and a potent voice of the land. River is an indigeous bead maker, song weaver and heart alchemist from The Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Reservation that reside at the base of the blue mountains in northeastern Oregon. Her feet have taken her beyond the lands of her Cayuse and Nimiipuu ancestors to a current base in Sedona, Arizona.
With a deep pulse on the heartbeat of the collective and a keen awareness to what is present River has carried the songs and prayers of her people around the country for the last decade.
A message from River: “We all stand on common ground. We all stare at the same moon. Our pain may be different from one another, but we all bleed the same.”

Tell her all your secrets and everything you fear. Be brutally honest. Quickly and with grace you’ll see. The world doesn’t seem so dark, the stars don’t seem so far, and (my favorite remembrance of all) you and LOVE will never be apart.
